About the FOUNDERS

ERIC MARTIN is a screenwriter, novelist, and Partner at Rearview Pictures. Currently, he is the Executive Producer and Head Writer of the highly acclaimed Marvel and Disney+ streaming series, LOKI. Previously, Eric has worked on RICK AND MORTY and the premium cable television drama HEELS. Eric has written two books: SAVING THE REPUBLIC, an historical novel following the life of Roman statesman Marcus Tullius Cicero, and WITCH OF AGNESSI, which chronicles the life of 18th century prodigy and Mathematician, Maria Gaetana Agnesi. In his free time, Eric enjoys studying history, climbing mountains and running. His favorite food is water.

TOBIAS WEYMAR is Partner, President and Co-Founder of Rearview Pictures. Prior to that, he was the President of Development and International Acquisitions of Nickel City Pictures. In 2021, he produced the Hulu Comedy “Sex Appeal”, the family adventure “Boys Of Summer” starring Mel Gibson, the Universal backed Romantic Comedy “The List” and the Neil Jordan directed and Liam Neeson starring film “Marlowe”. Tobias was formerly the Head of Development & VP of Acquisitions at Telepool, GmbH, a leading distributor of film and television content in Germany and German speaking territories. He played an integral role in acquisitions of dozens of American films such as “London Has Fallen”, “Mother’s Day”, “The Duff”, “Sleepless” and the “Hitman’s Bodyguard”. In addition, he spearheaded the company’s efforts into development financing. Prior to 2014, he worked at Senator Entertainment, a German distribution and production company, focusing on international co-productions. Prior to Senator, Tobias worked at leading foreign sales and production company Sierra/Affinity. Tobias holds a law degree from the University of Hamburg, Germany.

DAN BRIGGS is Partner, Chairman & CEO of Rearview Pictures. With a long record of success in business and high finance Dan helps to secure funding and create relationships to facilitate the continued growth of the company. With a family history of feature film production he was raised as Mae West made her final film and Timothy Dalton is first introduced to American audiences in his fathers movies. As Dan had success in other endeavors he never lost his passion for the movie industry. And when the opportunity arose to help create a production company that was content first, he leapt at the chance to work with Eric and Tobias.
